The Women Global Cancer Initiative is a world-wide organization with the focus of breaking barriers of inequities in health care for women diagnosed with gynecological cancer. They have carried out many projects across the globe in Liberia, South Africa, Grenada, and New York City.
In Liberia, two civil wars had left the country with no reliable source of a health care system. The Women Global Cancer Initiative was driven to plan the first post-war pathology lab at the JFK Memorial Hospital.
In 2018, in collaboration with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we aided the Women Global Cancer Initiative with the design and shipping, from the United States to Liberia, of custom countertops, workstations and cabinets for the pathology lab. With only a 4,000 square foot building to work with, we able to deliver a new, fully functional workspace for proper education and training of students.
The client was overjoyed to see the job complete and could not thank us enough for all of our help in pushing their vision forward.
At OnePointe Solutions, we were grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of numerous people.
