Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to more than 110 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The 501(c)(3) not-for-profit blood center was established in 1974 and operates as Central Illinois Community Blood Center (Springfield, Illinois) and Community Blood Services of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana, Illinois).

The client started out as a simple phenolic countertop order back in 2016 and has progressed into a long-standing customer over the years. So, in 2019, when the client relocated to a bigger facility, they called OnePointe Solutions right away to help to meet their project needs.

With now being in the Reference Lab in Earth City, Missouri, the client needed mobile and stationary laboratory tables, metal casework, and custom workstations to outfit their new space.

The design for this project was completed in two phases:

Phase 1: Finalizing the details of the project making sure all requirements were met including desired lead time.

Phase 2: Installing the furniture for their HemeBacT & Compliance labs to complete the relocation to the new workspace.

The installation for this project was completed in (4) days.
